I am working as a PhD Student at Department of Communication at Aalborg University. Physically I am located in e-Learning Lab. My PhD project is on young people's use of social networking sites. Read more about my PhD project on my blog.

I have a Master in Media and Communications Studies from Department of Communication at Aalborg University. My primary research interests are within the field of youth and internet research, youth culture, social networking, ICT and learning, Web 2.0, discourse studies and interpersonal and nonverbal communication.

Furthermore, I give lectures on young peoples use of the internet site www.arto.dk and their communication on the internet in general.

I have a background within the media and communications industry as a journalist, radio host, communication and information officer and so on.
