I am currently occupied with the chain of innovation. I see so many good activities in my new organization (www.ucn.dk), at the University (www.aau.dk), in the Region North Denmark (www.rn.dk), in the Kingdom of Denmark, in Europe, in the World… But I start to feel troubled by the thousand flowers of innovative activities.
Innovation: A process which is worth the hassle!
Today my son succeeded in riding his bicycle without support. It was a big day! The funny thing was that it has been so difficult for him. In periods he has refused to use the bike. “I will walk” he has announced for month when we have invited him to go for a bike ride. And then suddenly he just did it. And he laughed. And he continued. And it seemed so simple that we almost forgot all the hard work. I love moments like these and in many ways design and innovation is similar to this.
