Mission

Overall eLLs embrace multidisciplinary diversity and respect that there are many ways to reach our goals. Balancing productivity with care for ourselves and our workplace is our foundational value. eLL’s develop and apply theory, tools, and techniques to enhance participation, learning and critical reflection regarding the integration of design, organization and innovation of ICT in the practices of its users. This includes deep knowledge, understanding and appreciation of culture, values, participants’ identities and sense-making e.g. through interpretative studies within various domains and communities.

Overall strategy

A humanistic approach integrating historical, ethical, identity and organizational angles PBL revisited. A hallmark of eLL research is the attempt to mediate between understanding of practice and design for change of practice.

eLL’s strategy for the spring of 2011 is ‘Look back to move forward’. We will address the benchmarks together, through ICT support, joint meetings, joint reading and the writing of a book, marking our 10 years anniversary
