Furthermore discuss and reflect on the life as PhD students, in general.
Purposes of the club
PhD students in the club come from different academic, social and cultural worlds. With the club, we wish to bridge between these cultures in order to learn from each other and help one another becoming PhD’s. We are looking for find support, give and receive feedback during our journey as PhD students.
Activities in the club
In each session two members present their projects; receive critical and constructive feedback and discus new directions and actions to take. This activity forms the basis for the PhD club. Besides, we try to develop a shared knowledge repertoire by:
- Reading and discussing literature
- Writing papers together
- Sharing information about conferences and PhD courses
- Keeping each other update on relevant technologies
Besides the academic part of the club we regularly meet for social activities to learn more about each others background, cultures and customs.
