Material and appendices

Here you can find some material and appendices related to the PhD thesis:

"Patchworking as a metaphor for learning - Understanding youth, learning and technology"

The thesis in full can be downloaded as a PDF file here»

It especially concerns a group of young 'Power Users' work on the open-ended learning challenge 'how to reduce poverty in the world through the use of technology. They worked hard on this challenge and finally presented the results of their three days of intensive work to a large group of adults.

Their final presentation is described in some detail in this appendix» which gives a bit of insight into their line of argumentation and use of media.

The thesis was successfully defended on the 16th of November, where I gave an initial 45 minutes presentation followed by 2½ hours of questions from the committee members and two questions ex-auditorium.

The presentation from the defense can be found here»
